My son purchased this camper around 4 years ago, we have completed all the welding, this includes complete front panels from the windscreen down, both front wheel arches including steps, some chassis welding, we have left in the underside panels and repaired these as well, i no some people remove these, it also has a new tailgate fited, we have lowered it by 3 inches, this was done on the instruction of a company and it sits and rides nice,we have cut around 1 foot from the middle of the front and rear bumbers, welded end panels and smoothed over the bolts that hold the bumbers on, these look nice, there is a new hamock that fits across the front seats included, we have driven this and the engine / gearbox if fine, its a 1972 Westfalia model so is also tax exempt. it is on black plates as shown in picture. We have prepaired the complete body for paint with primer, we wanted the top coat to be nice so sent it to be done by a company, unforunetly they started to paint in in the wrong colour, my son has now lost interest so its up for sale, needs somefine filling then top coat, this will make a lovely camper for someone that wants a easy prodect, we have the front seats but the rear section will need refitting as its in poor condition, ie draws etc are ugly. we have all the glass except for the front screen as this got broke in transit. Includes all origonal trim, lights etc. It will need a MOT but is sound so should not cause any major problem.
