For sale my 1972 Bay “Kipper”. I have owned it since Spetember 2009 having bought it after viewing it at Vanfest 09. Since owning him I have replaced the gear box with a 1976 unit, as the previous version decided to stick in 2nd. All the brake lines were replaced at the same time as this along with some a tiny amount of welding underneath. I have had seat belts fitted in the rear and also for the rear facing buddy seat. In addition I also have the seat that can be fitted between the walk through as an extra should a buyer be interested which BlueBird Type 2 supplied. The gearbox replacement and all underside work has been carried out by John at 81a VW in Southport. There is a 3/4 rock and roll bed to the rear seating, two single bunks in the roof with new canvass and can take the weight of an adult. In addition, also purchased from Bluebird Type 2 I have a bunk that fits over the front seats and will take 80kg in weight. Insulated front screen cover from bluebird to keep the cold out, although the double smev burner unit can quickly heat the camper up in minutes. There are 3 x 12v connections in the roof and one to the rear of the bus along with a double 240v socket hooked up to a invertor all connected to a leisure battery which was new 12 months ago. Under cabinet lighting for travelling during the night in additon. Comes with a claxon horn fitted as well as microphone connected to unit that plays sirens and farm yard noises for a bit of fun. Engine has been bored out to a 1776cc and has only covered 10000 miles approximatelysince it was built. I have replaced the engine oil every 3000 miles and recently changed the plugs too. I fitted new heat exchangers 2 years ago that work and the hoses and connections are all in working order. I do have a Kyham Motordome sleeper, sun canopy, chemical toilet, tv and aerial, unused festival shower in addition and at extra cost should the buyer be interested in doing a deal. Very reluctant sale as it is a luxury that can’t really afford to keep in these hard times but doesn’t mean that I will sell at nothing. I have spent £2k on it since I bought it and got it up to a good realiable standard, with no issues since i replaced the gearbox 2 year ago. Couple of dings in the side door showing original lime green colour under the grey with glitter flake in it. Some bubbling to usual areas and if I get a chance will add more pictures, or contact me and I can email direct. Auto-trail Apache 700SE Hi-Line. We have owned the vehicle from new and have kept it in very good condition. The 3 litre engine gives smooth cruising and it has cruise control. The SE model has several extras including cab air conditioning, multi channel TV, flip down colour TV monitor, with reversing camera, external gas outlet, external shower. There is a tow bar fitted, a 3 bike rack and an extra leisure battery. There is also a cat 1 alarm/immobiliser. The internal layout has a large rear U shaped lounge which converts into a king size bed, there are reading lights and a large overall ligh, also an opening sunroof. Centrally there is a shower/oilet unit and a wardrobe with a dual fuel, gas/electric, water and room heater, with blown air. Forward of this there is gas/12V/240V fridge/freezer unit and opposite a 4 seat dining table that converts to a double bed. 2 of these seats have seat belts for travelling. There is a sink, oven/grill hob unit with one of the rings being electric and the other 3 gas. We are selling because we are looking to buy a new motorhome. Rare Mazda Bongo Aero 2005 (55 plate) 2.0L Petrol, Automatic (registered in Japan 1/11/05) Imported and registered in the UK (12/5/11) Owned by us since import. Graphite Grey Metallic with Animal logo on both sides (2 wheel drive) 8 Seater, tin top. Mileage approx 72,000 miles. Fitted with Laserline immobiliser. Insurance give extra discount for having this fitted. Used daily, much loved vehicle. Purchase of new home forces sale. Excellent condition. Viewers are welcome anytime. New MOT in the last 3 weeks. Lovely vehicle, a pleasureable and easy vehicle to drive. Width of a normal car, so easy to park in any normal sized parking space. Vehicle 15′ long. All seats are easily removeable by removing a bracket and then sliding them out of the back door. Handy if needing to transport large items. Can be converted to a high top camper van, or if you already have an older converted Bongo, you can move your conversion into this newer version with no problems as the inside is exactly the same as the older style. That is the beauty of a Bongo. Great for camping or for surfers. Has usual Bongo features: Electric side windows, the side wing mirrors swing in against the Bongo at a push of a rocker switch and then the actual side glass mirrors within these are electric too. Electric blinds on all side windows, privacy glass, seats fully recline to make a spacious double bed. Air conditioning in front and rear with separate units for individual settings, but the rear can be operated from the front panel. The electric blinds can be individually operated from each window, or each side can be controlled from the front panel. Side door has a soft closure facility, i.e. if you shut it but it does not quite close, it will close itself. Interior in great condition, grey velour. 2 cigarette lighters (1 in front, 1 in rear) 1 set of the rear seats have built in hard plastic inserts in the rear of the upright, so that when folded down, they make up a table. Simple but great idea. Also fitted with JVC cd/radio with auxillary input for MP3 and an alko tow bar. A Bongo is a way of life. A Bongo owner is a happy owner. Vehicle worth £8000 easily, but reduced to final price of £5500 for quick sale due to house move. No time wasters, genuine bids only please. This is a fantastic vehicle for the price.
